PRE CONSTRUCTION
True quality in construction is achieved through delivering a project that both conforms to the CDs while also accounting for the owner’s expectations and objectives. Our Quality Assurance process begins in preconstruction as we work closely with the design team and our trades through each design meeting to ensure the final documents will reflect the objective. We will keep detailed meeting minutes for each meeting to track progress, identify risk, and for reporting/record keeping purposes. It is essential that roles and responsibilities are delegated early and clearly. We will report weekly and monthly on design progress and raise the flag immediately to highlight any areas of risk to the budget/schedule.
CONSTRUCTION
During construction we will closely monitor and report on all project controls. We will work with the design team and the contractor for early identification of any potential long lead items or labor shortages that pose a risk to the schedule and/or budget and help to find ways to mitigate these risks. All pay apps will be reviewed for accuracy and we will conduct field inspections to ensure billed materials are installed or stored properly prior to approval. We will track progress in the field to ensure progress is on track with the schedule and to identify any schedule risks early.
Change Oreder / Customization
An on-site Project Manager will be responsible for daily photos and project tracking. Any change requests can be made directly to the PM and in most cases change requests can be approved within a day or two. We will conduct weekly meetings with the design team for progress reporting and tracking.
Additionally, each week there will be a weekly progress report that will include jobsite photos, schedule tracking, cost tracking, jobsite milestones, current submittals, change orders as well as identifying any critical issues that may require immediate attention.
